Charles Manson - The Game (Look at Your Game)

There’s a time for living
Time keeps on flying
You get some loving
And a whole lot of crying
Can you really feel?
Ask yourself
Are your feelings real?
Or is it just a game?
What a mad delusion
Living in this confusion, frustration and doubt
Can we ever live without the game?
The sad game
To love is not enough
If you can’t be true
You can tell those lies people
But you’re only fooling you
Can you really feel?
Ask yourself
Are your feelings real?
Oh what a game
Oh what a game
If you can’t feel
And your feelings aren’t real
Then you better start trying
Or you’re gonna be crying
That’s the game…

This was a quick demo recorded in 1967. Of course, this later became Look At Your Game, Girl, one of Charlie’s more popular songs as recorded on LIE in 1968. In the book My Life With Charles Manson, it was stated that the words were changed to reflect how Charlie really disliked how Susan Atkins would lie and had an “ego” problem.
